Bullet, the dog owned by Sammy Aloubehi, Big A convenience store manager in Philadelphia, prevented the armed robbery in their store. The dog’s good deed is now being recognized online hailing him as a hero dog.
On the day of the incident, two armed individuals rushed through the door in an attempt to break into the convenience store. In the video footage, the robbers were seen heading towards the back of the store. One of them holds a gun to the head of one employee seated on a couch near the counter. While the other holds a gun to their heads and warns them to stay put if they don’t move.
After that, Bullet leaped all over the suspect, hindering his aim and getting in his way. The clerk was able to pull her firearm and fire at him for a long enough period while being distracted.
Despite being caught off guard, the first suspect was able to discharge his gun before fleeing the business in a panic. After then, the second suspect opened fire on the employee and then followed his accomplice.
Bullet holes were left in the couch and on the wall from the shootout. Sammy was uninjured, but his employee, who was seated on the couch, was shot in the back four times. Currently, her injuries are being treated at the hospital, and she is claimed to be in good health.
The police were able to recover an item left behind by one of the suspects by mistake. However, no arrests have been made yet.
Despite the misfortunate event, Sammy is very grateful for his trusty companion Bullet who makes him feel happy to be alive. Who knows whether they would have both lived if Bullet had not jumped on the attackers, right?
