When a dog was dropped off and abandoned in a California neighborhood, the locals were alarmed.
After the dog was let out of the car, the owner rushed away, leaving the dog confused about what just happened. It sat there for the next few hours, weeping and howling.
Perhaps the dog was still holding out hope that her owners would return. She never left the location where she was left behind.
One resident of the area called Hope for Paws, a canine rescue organization, out of pity for the unfortunate animal.
The group’s founder, Eldad, was accompanied by a woman named Victoria when they went to the neighborhood to rescue the dog. When they came, they did not anticipate that rescuing her would be straightforward. The dog was simply standing there with her tail wagging.
The dog appeared to be quite nice, and she was also hungry. It sniffed the burger that Victoria was holding in her hand. As soon as it was presented to her, the dog devoured it. While she was preoccupied with eating, the rescuersjill

The dog was so pleased to see friendly faces that the thought of fleeing never occurred to her. In fact, she began jumping with delight and showering them with kisses. She immediately saw that these individuals were there to assist her.
They quickly took the dog to their facility in their vehicle. During the journey, the dog continued to lick their faces. Veronica decided to name her Jill.
When they arrived at the shelter, they gave her a medicated bath and provided her with a comfortable place to stay. She had the opportunity to meet the other rescued dogs during her stay.
Jill was soon transferred to a foster home, where she will remain until she is adopted by a new family. Hopefully, it won’t take long, especially since she is a cheerful and playful dog.
