Do dogs understand music? There is plenty of evidence that may indicate that dogs may have varied musical preferences. Scientific findings suggest that canines have a sense of pitch and appreciation for music.
While the concept of dance may be technically unique to humans, it may be possible that dogs may copy humans when they see them dance. The story of Bailey, the Reggaeton-loving pooch, shows one dog appreciating some tune and dancing to it.
Bailey had his chance to fame with a captivating music video. The one who took the video was very appreciative of having caught the little guy excitedly moving to Reggaeton music all by himself. It was so adorable.
Wendy Berenguer shared the video of Bailey doing his dance twist accompanied by some Reggaeton music on Facebook. It flooded the internet and garnered over a million shares. With this level of engagement, dog-loving people could not help but comment and tag other dog-lovers to see Bailey’s groove on.
Most of the comments expressed a desire to teach their own dogs how to twist and groove to the music. Others said those were not dance moves and just insisted that the adorable dog, Bailey, was just having an itchy butt.
At the start of the video, one lady started approaching the dancing dog as he did his dance moves. The lady was also dancing to the music, and though it almost seemed like she might have interrupted the adorable dancing dog, it was not the case. Bailey enjoyed some company and audience, so she upped the ante and kept his groove on!
The cute little pooch did not seem to want to stop, and it looked like he could just do it all day. His human looked like he could do too.
The video was, indeed, very precious to see. The adorable dog knew that his dancing was appreciated, and he knew he just had to keep on dancing!
