Brandon Turnbow, a biker and a musician, was driving along Highway 171 when he came upon an unbelievable sight. On the side of the road, Turnbow saw a man beating a dog. The man seemed to be the dog’s owner and was intent on abusing and abandoning the poor pup on the highway. Little did the dog know that on that day, his life was about to change forever.
Turnbow, who has a soft spot for dogs, pulls over. The man then throws down the dog and takes off. It is sad to think that there are people who are capable of doing something like this to our furry friends. Pets are supposed to be parts of our families. But the reality is that hundreds of dogs are abused and abandoned every day in the United States alone.
Turnbow couldn’t bear to leave the tiny white dog on the side of the road. And so from then on, the dog became his co-pilot. He named the dog, Mr. Davidson, after Harley Davidson.
The duo spent the rest of the day on the road before Turnbow headed back to his house. Immediately after they got home, Mr. Davidson realized that he was safe and fell asleep on one of the pillows. That’s when Turnbow decided to keep Mr. Davidson forever.
He used Mr. Davidson’s story to help spread awareness and help other abused animals by founding “Baaang” Bikers Against Animal Abuse National Global. He is hoping to make this happen on an epic scale. There are many Bikers out there who love animals. And according to Turnbow, he would love it if Bikers were sent to collect these abused animals so that they can be given a second chance to live a happier life.
To further promote his cause, Turnbow wrote a song and even made a video about Mr. Davidson that has since gone viral.
