Dog Befriends Dolphin

The Best Part of Your Week Will Be This Dog-Dolphin Friendship Story

These beautiful God’s creatures are sending us all positive energy.
The internet nowadays is loaded with a lot of crazy material. But did you realise there’s something else you can find in its networks? Photographs of dogs! What’s better than photographs of dogs? A photo of a dolphin and a dog hanging out, having a good time.

A viral photo of a golden retriever reaching over to lick a dolphin’s nose from last year has resurfaced. I found it quite exciting and felt the need to share it with you to brighten your day.

While this viral moment previously went viral in June, Twitter user @Avayonce re-shared it this week because the truth is; that the world is a sad place that needs more beautiful animal content. That’s most likely why the photo went viral, with over 1.3 million likes on Twitter
and counting.

It has gone viral and appears to be proof that we could all need a little more of this enormous energy in our lives. This adorable encounter is made extraordinary because this playful golden retriever and dolphin have been best friends for years.

From around eight weeks old, Gunner, the seven-year-old golden retriever in the photo, and Delta, the ten-year-old dolphin, have been inseparable.

Dogs are renowned for being incredibly friendly animals that get along with other species, including ducks, pigs, and even tigers.

On the other hand, Gunner formed a special bond with Delta, a dolphin at the Dolphin Research Center in Florida, where Marie Blanton, Gunner’s human and other best friend, worked for nearly a decade.

“He was peaceful among the dolphins from the very first moment he encountered them,” Blanton told the Evening Standard. “Delta, who was a rambunctious four-year-old at the time, was also enthralled by him. I bring him in less now that he’s a little older, but still once every few months.”

As most of us tend to do, you don’t have to see your pals often to form an inseparable link.
