The city maintenance employees of a Wuhan, China bridge became concerned when they observed a dog staying in one location for several days. They had no idea how long he had been there or who he belonged to.
When they attempted to approach him, the little dog would flee. However, he would return when he observed that no one was nearby. It looked like it was not keen on having humans near him.
The crew decided to investigate, and they studied surveillance camera footage. They discovered that the dog had spent numerous nights with his owner. Even though the tape was dark and grainy, it was evident that the individual intentionally went off the bridge. Unfortunately, the dog’s owner could not be identified.
The dog never left the location after his owner jumped off the bridge. Probably, he had no idea what to do. It appeared like the dog was waiting for his owner to climb back up the bridge to retrieve him. The devoted dog remained there for days, calmly eluding capture by rescuers.
Many residents became concerned about the dog’s welfare. Some attempted to rescue him, but he refused to accompany anyone.
One Good Samaritan routinely gave him food and water. He desired to adopt the small dog since he felt sorry for its plight. Eventually, he earned the dog’s trust and coaxed him into his vehicle. However, when they parked near the man’s house and the car door was opened, the dog ran. The man requested assistance from numerous shelter volunteers, but they were unable to locate him.
City officials urged their constituents to keep an eye out for the obedient dog. They are optimistic that he will be located and given a loving home. While it is fair that the dog would grieve for his owner, he also deserves a happy and secure life.
