Meet Pepper, a Senior dog from Udaipur, India. Found under a car in a terrible condition. A good Samaritan saw Pepper and called the rescue group, Animal Aid Unlimited.
The poor dog was homeless as well as suffering from a disease called mange. Mange is a skin disease that affects mammals. It is caused by parasitic mites and sometimes transferable to humans.
The signs and symptoms are, severe itching, hair loss, the formation of scabs and lesions. Pepper was completely hairless with itchy skin, covered in lesions and scabs; and was in terrible pain.

However, on seeing the rescue team, she chose to trust them and began to wag her tail in excitement. She got up and approached them for food and affection. Something she had not experienced in a while.
Initially, the volunteers thought Pepper would die from the disease due to the severity of her condition but, she was very lucky, they got her just in time.
She managed to pulled through with the great care she received.
