Aussiedoodle Hank is commemorating his gotcha day in a popular TikTok video with over 52,000 likes. Hank’s uncle begins the film by taking his special Gotcha Day gift that his parents left for him while they were on their honeymoon.
What most people might anticipate to be a straightforward, adorable video of the dog enjoying his special gift ended up taking the most bizarre and hilarious turn possible. Hank doesn’t waste any time after the treat is set up and he has been given the go-ahead to consume it.
One small issue remains, though: Hank still has the tennis ball in his mouth. Hank appears to be baffled by the situation as he paces back and forth between the treat and his bed. Or he is faced with one of the most difficult decisions: to treat or to ball.

Hank decides to attempt eating his treat after pacing frantically for around 40 seconds. The fact that he is still holding the ball as though his life depended on it, though, remains the sole issue.
Hank’s uncle is heard cracking up in the background as he keeps explaining to the bewildered dog the solution to all of his issues. His uncle chastises him, “You have to drop the ball bro,” but to no avail. Hank could now have to concede defeat, it seems.
After what seems like an eternity of frantic pacing, Hank finally figures out how to solve the big Gotcha Day treat puzzle. He just needs to drop the ball. He takes his new treasure to bed with him to enjoy after a hard day’s work. Hank, we think you’re great.
