Just like humans, adult dogs can be fond of puppies, too. Maybe it’s their parental instincts at work, but once dogs see tiny pooches, they suddenly become curious, protective, and even doting. A Golden Retriever named Bailey proves just that.
Bailey, an influencer dog on YouTube, has melted the hearts of his fans after a clip shows him meeting a bunch of tiny stray dogs. When he sees the puppies, he becomes excited and quite emotional.
Bailey’s first time to meet the pups
Bailey was comfortably waiting beside a large bed as his owner arrived with a special delivery for him. The basket that Bailey’s owner was carrying actually contained tiny stray puppies.
The owner then put the pups on the bed. When Bailey saw them, he was quite confused. He didn’t have any idea of what to do next. But he quickly managed to learn how to approach them.
Bailey sniffed the tiny puppies. And in no time, he realized that these pooches need to be looked after. The puppies wagged their tails to show their contentment. Bailey, on the other hand, was clearly already in love with them.
Bailey’s YouTube video has been viewed more than 21 million times. And it has been flooded with adorable messages. One put it nicely by saying that Bailey was overwhelmed by emotion and that clip was very touching. Another commenter seemed to be amazed by how fast Bailey managed to learn to be gentle with the puppies.
Bailey surely loves other animals
It may have been Bailey’s first time to meet the puppies, but he has already met other animals. And he seems to be quite good at making friends.
For one, Bailey has come face-to-face with a kitten. He has even acted as a surrogate parent for bunnies who believed that Bailey was their mother. It was understandable that the bunnies have mistaken the Golden Retriever for their mom since Bailey was very kind and doting.
