Animal shelters are crucial to our society as they rescue stray dogs from the streets, and they make sure that the pups have everything they need to survive. However, not all animal shelters have the funds to keep these pups for a long time. Sadly, many of them euthanize dogs that don’t get adopted.
So it’s nice to know that there are kind people like Megan who go out of their way to save these pups before they get euthanized. Just recently, this good Samaritan rushed to an animal shelter in her city to save the life of a Siberian husky who had only an hour to live.

Megan found out that if nobody adopted this pooch named King in one hour, the shelter would have no choice but to put the doggo to sleep. That animal shelter labeled King as an aggressive dog, but Megan knew that this wasn’t the case. She explained that many pups brought into animal shelters act aggressively only because they don’t like their new environment.
Megan was willing to give King a chance, so she rushed to the animal shelter where the husky was and took the pooch home. Right away, Megan noticed that King’s eyes were unique, and any potential adopter would find him very attractive.
She also noticed that despite the shelter labeling the adorable furball as “aggressive,” the doggo was well-behaved. Megan knew at this point that getting this husky ready for adoption wouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Aside from her new foster pup, Megan has a pet pooch named Zeppelin. King and her fur baby hit it off right away, and the dog mom observed that her foster baby learned how to become a house doggo from copying Zeppelin. This was quite crucial as they needed to get King ready if he was to find a forever home.
After a couple of months, a man from San Diego stepped forward to adopt King. It’s amazing how this lucky pupper went from almost being euthanized to finding his forever home!
