Dogs are definitely some of the most devoted and extremely loving animals in the world. Boncuk’s story is a great example of that fact.
One day, Boncuk’s owner, Cemal Senturk got sick and had to go to a hospital. However, Boncuk did not understand why her owner suddenly had to leave. All she knew was that her owner left her all alone.
Boncuk followed Cemal all the way to the hospital to wait for his return. She ended up waiting for him for an astonishing 6 days. No matter what anyone did, she did not stop waiting for him. She spent all that time outside the hospital doors, waiting patiently for Cemal to come back.
Boncuk waits for her owner to return
Here’s how Boncuk’s story began. When an ambulance picked up Cemal to take him to the hospital, poor Boncuk panicked. She did not know why people suddenly took her owner away. The loyal and brave dog then chased after the ambulance.
Once Cemal reached the hospital, Boncuk started her vigil. She would stay outside the front door until her owner returned.
Cemal’s daughter, Aynur Egeli kept trying to take Boncuk home. But Boncuk did not care. Every time she went home, she just went out again and walked all the way to the hospital. During her vigil, Boncuk made sure to keep quiet and stay still.
Boncuk sees Cemal again
According to a hospital security guard, Boncuk came to the hospital every day around 9 AM. The devoted dog then waited until nightfall before heading home. After 6 days, Boncuk’s patience finally paid off. The hospital finally released Cemal! Boncuk was very happy to see her beloved owner again. Her tail kept on wagging and she leaped with joy.
Boncuk is surely one of the sweetest and most devoted dogs out there. The bond between Cemal and Boncuk is incredible. Boncuk didn’t care about either time or distance, as long as she can see her owner again.
