It’s wintertime again, and that only means one thing – lots of snow. Well, at least for the northern states. And this entails that we do a lot of shoveling on our driveways. Unfortunately, despite the fact that our doggos can help us with most of our chores, they pretty much can’t do anything regarding this task.
The best that our furballs can do is just get out of our way so that we can start shoveling. But this playful pooch from Rockport, Massachusetts, wanted to be part of everything that his human does.

Pretzel, the 11-month-old yellow Labrador, took an interest in his dad shoveling the snow on the driveway. But instead of just watching his human toil during the blizzard, the silly pup grabbed the shovel and ran with it!
The disruptive doggo ran around their yard while holding the shovel in his mouth, and we must admit, he’s pretty strong for an 11-month old pooch. Pretzel’s dog dad tried calling him, but the pupper was just enjoying too much to notice.
Seeing that his efforts were in vain, Pretzel’s human went into the house to get some food, which was a pretty nice move, in our opinion. But even with a tasty treat in his hand, the doggo didn’t even look at his dog dad! Pretzel was in cloud nine because of his new “toy.”

Instead of getting annoyed, the pup’s human decided to record his doggo going nuts over a shovel — and thank God that he did. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy this pup’s joyous moment, which is just pure bliss.
It’s quite clear that Pretzel enjoys fresh snow, and in a blizzard where everything looks so gloomy, it’s nice to see a puppy having tons of fun. Perhaps we can learn from Pretzel and just enjoy the weather, minus the shovel in our mouths, of course.
