We love our dogs to the point that we often go out of our way to make their lives a bit more comfortable. More often than we might like, we always end up buying our beloved dogs all the finer things in life that we can afford. One of these is a dog bed.
Let’s admit it sometimes we even spend more on our pets than we do for ourselves. But that’s okay, pets are also members of our families, and it is only proper that we treat them as such. Then again, no matter how much we try to spend for our dogs’ comfort, they always seem to end up taking what’s not theirs—much like the dog in this featured video.
Max, a sweet and loving Yellow Labrador, is living the good life. His mom gives him all he needs, including a comfortable bed to sleep on. But when mom is changing her bedsheet, Max discovered the best place to take a chill pill.
For Max, the mattress will do just fine for an afternoon nap! But mom wants to get her chores done so that she can sit down and relax for the rest of the day. So mom politely asks the lazy Labrador to get off the bed.
No matter how much she begs the lazy pooch to get off, Max just doesn’t seem to care. He just nonchalantly lays there, without a care in the world. The only reaction mom gets from the naughty dog is a demanding side-eye. It’s as if Max is telling mom to leave him alone to take a nap on the mattress. He is determined to stay put.
Mom tries grabbing the stubborn Labrador’s paw and gives it a good shake as she lets out a slight chuckle. Still nothing. And so, Max left mom with no other choice but to bring out the big guns. She knew the one thing that the lazy dog couldn’t resist.
And with only one word, she got the lazy dog up on his feet in no time. All mom had to do was say the magic word, “Squirrel!” and Max is off to check where they were. What a magical word!
