A two-year-old Chihuahua named Prancer went viral after her foster mom, Tyfanee Fortuna, posted the most honest adoption ad. Contrary to the usual adoption ads that often describe a dog to be sweet and loyal, Fortuna described Prancer as demonic and a neurotic mess. She added that the Chihuahua hates people, especially men, children, and other animals. Hence, some people who saw her post dubbed Prancer as the worst dog in America.

According to Fortuna, Prancer’s previous owner moved into a senior facility; hence he needed a new owner. She had been fostering Prancer for six months before she came up with the viral ad. Her previous adoption ads about Prancer, in which she tried to sugarcoat his unique personality, did not work. So, she decided to describe him as straightforwardly as she could.
Surprisingly, the ad worked. Most people found Fortuna’s adoption ad to be unique and hilarious, which is why it went viral. Several people also expressed their interest in adopting Prancer, and his story got featured in local news channels.

In just a matter of days after Prancer’s adoption ad went viral, he found his forever home. Ariel Davis from Connecticut became Prancer’s new mom. According to Davis, she came across the viral post about Prancer, and she found it amusing. More importantly, she resonated with Prancer’s story, and she understood what it was like to work with a dog struggling with behavioral issues.
Davis also mentioned that she had anticipations after reading about Prancer’s attitude. But, she had never experienced any anger management issues with him. He is good at park walks, and she thinks he is a happy little man.

Now, Prancer is living happily in his new home. His mom created an Instagram account for him so his fans could get updates about him. His IG description speaks volumes of how much his mom adores him, and it says, a playful and loyal companion, he is one in a million!
