It’s amazing how ideas can pop up out of a troubling situation. Meet Brian and his son, Cameron Stanley who turned their fence into a pleasant sight to see, with their dog Burger at the centre of it all.
They have two adorable dogs, Burger and Ripley. Burger is the curious, pleasant and friendly one who always wants to see what is going on in the world beyond their high fence.

One day, Burger got so excited that he dug up a hole under the high fence and got himself out – something Brian could not have. Therefore, he emerged with an idea to cut up a hole into the fence to help cure his dog Burger’s curiosity.
He shared the idea with his son Cameron, and they immediately got to work!
Before they knew it, Burger was popping out his head, admiring the world beyond the fence.

Brian had the idea to paint the fence using a version of his favourite painting, The Scream. He showed it to Cameron, and they called it, “The Bark.”
After the Bark, they did Paws and many others. The most recent one was Pac Man, all featuring Burger as the focal point.

During the pandemic, Brian got furloughed from work, and Cameron had to do his school work from home.
This gave them the chance to come up with ideas to make the painting more attractive.

When driving past Sheridan Road in Poland, you can hardly miss seeing that fence. Brian describes it to be, “The biggest, longest, ugliest brown fence, probably in Mahoning County.”
This initiative completely changed the neighbourhood! Soon their neighbours were taking that route more often to see the excellent piece of art. They looked forward to seeing a new piece of the display as they took their daily walks.

It has given Brian and his family the opportunity to interact with the neighbours once again. As the Poland Dog Fence idea has worked out so well and become extremely popular, Brian and Cameron have decided to keep doing it.
They have written down more plans that will cover them for the next four years.
