There are countless stray dogs out there that are living in horrible conditions. Many of these dogs experience cruelty from horrible people while others get into accidents that can potentially endanger their lives. Thankfully, there are so many people out there that are willing to give these dogs a second chance.
In Romania, a puppy named Bonnie was born as a stray in a huge factory complex. Several employees of the factory knew about Bonnie and they always feed Bonnie and her siblings’ food scraps. However, one lady who worked at the factory suddenly noticed Bonnie with horrific injuries.
It turned out that Bonnie was hit by a speeding train and her nose was cut off by the impact. Bonnie was also missing a paw. Thankfully, a kindhearted lady who worked at the factory brought Bonnie along with her siblings and mom to the veterinarian.
Bonnie needed a lot of operations to help her. Without help, Bonnie would have been euthanized. Thankfully, an animal rescue organization based in the UK called Beacon Animal Rescue took over Bonnie’s care. That was also the time when a woman named Kate.
After seeing Bonnie and learning about her story, Kate fell n love with her and volunteered to foster Bonnie. Eventually, Kate decided to officially adopt Bonnie and give her the loving forever home that she deserves. Despite her appearance, Bonnie grew up to become a cheeky dog who bosses her doggie siblings around.
At first, Kate was raising money to give Bonnie a prosthetic leg and surgery for her nose. However, Bonnie’s prosthetic leg didn’t work. Whenever Bonnie wore her prosthetic leg, it caused her wound to open up and cause her pain. So, the vets decided to advise Kate that the prosthetic leg will not work on Bonnie.
Kate also decided that Bonnie is perfect the way she is. She didn’t need cosmetic surgery and anyone who would say otherwise is just shallow judgmental people. Bonnie is now pain-free and happy. Despite her appearance, she’s a completely normal dog who loves playing and cuddling.
Bonnie is a true inspiration to everyone. Kate also showed people that dogs like Bonnie deserves a chance to be happy. Thanks to Kate and Bonnie, more people are inspired to adopt rescue dogs from animal shelters. Here’s a remarkable video about Bonnie and how a woman gave her another chance to be happy.
