A video of a Shih Tzu in the Philippines went viral when his owner shared it on the social media platform Tik Tok. The dog, a Shih Tzu named Luffy, has become quite a Tik Tok star because of his adorable antics. Luffy goes by the Tik Tok handle @luffyyyb. The video, which was also featured in local news, managed to get more than 900,000 views.
The reason why Luffy’s video went viral is because of his adorable reaction while waiting for his turn to see the vet. Together with his owner, Luffy was waiting in the vet waiting room for a checkup. Like many dogs, Luffy isn’t very fond of visits to the vet.
Many videos of dogs doing everything they can to avoid a visit to the vet are plentiful on different social media platforms. These dogs either hide, run away, or do their best to play dead just to get out of a vet visit. Unfortunately for these sneaky canines, a visit to the vet is necessary for their well-being, and no matter how hard these naughty pups try, they always end up going anyway.
The same can be said about Luffy. So when the tiny Shih Tzu was waiting in the vet waiting room, he didn’t look so pleased. That is until Luffy’s mom gave him a reason to smile—and smile he did!
While waiting for the vet, Luffy’s mom saw that another Shih Tzu was also waiting for her turn. She was a female and was about the same age as Luffy. Luffy’s mom tells him to see who’s in the waiting room with him, and when Luffy turned around to check on the other dog, he fell in love.
Luffy immediately perks up, and before you know it, the tiny pup lets out an adorable smile. Who even knew that dogs smile? Luffy turns around a second time, and after seeing the beautiful canine, he smiles at his mom again. What an adorable dog! No wonder his videos get a lot of views.
