Sick Stray Dog That Fainted Outside A Convenience Store Has A Miraculous Transformation After Getting Rescued

When people see a stray dog lying on the pavement, they often assume that the dog is napping and simply ignore them. We should always keep in mind that stray dogs live a hard life. They’re often malnourished and dehydrated, and they’re often sick. Some dogs live with injuries due to being accidentally run over by a car and with no one to treat them or take them to the vet, they don’t get the treatment they need.

One particular dog was found laying on a sidewalk just outside a convenience store. Most people just ignored the dog and assumed it was probably having a nap. However, one person was concerned enough to take a closer look and found that the dog actually fainted from exhaustion and sickness.

The citizen immediately called an animal rescue group to inform them about the sick dog. The animal rescue group responded immediately and took the dog to a veterinary shelter. The dog was having difficulty breathing and was unconscious when she was carried by the rescuers to the vehicle.

The vets worked hard to save the dog’s life by immediately giving her IV fluids and painkillers. The dog seemed to know that she was getting cared for and cooperated with the vets during her treatment. She was in terrible pain and was extremely dehydrated that she needed multiple IV fluids and pain medications to keep her alive.

The dog was also given a round of antibiotics to fight off infection and she was allowed to rest to get stronger. After 10 days in the animal hospital, the dog that almost died looked a lot healthier and became more active than she was when she was first brought to the hospital. The veterinarians involved in treating her stated that if she was left alone for a few more hours, she would have surely died.

Everyone involved in rescuing the dog is a  hero. If it wasn’t for them, the dog would have never gotten a second chance. Now, she’s living happily with a new forever family that gives her all the love and care she needs. Here’s a video featuring this truly heartwarming story.
