It’s touching when you hear stories of the friendship of two unusual animals. It is a wonder to think about how the relationship bloomed between the two animals.
This article is about another unusual story of friendship between two dogs who need special care and attention. These two dogs’ relationship is something to be admired because they could conquer difficulties despite their physical challenges.
Meet Hoshi and Zen, the dogs who stick with each other even if they have their own particular needs.
Hoshi is a senior dog who lost his sight due to glaucoma.
Zen is a stray dog adopted by Hoshi’s family six months before Hoshi’s eye surgery. Zen looks filthy and heavily matted when she was found on the streets. Hoshi’s family brought Zen to the vet, and it was found out at Zen has health issues: pulmonary edema, enlarged heart, and a narrow trachea.
The family thought that Hoshi would feel bad when they adopted Zen. Hoshi was also in a bad health condition during the time that Zen arrived.
The family was surprised when Hoshi and Zen hit it off! They became best friends and are inseparable. Zen serves as Hoshi’s seeing-eye dog. Zen always guides Hoshi wherever they go,

Zen and Hoshi’s adventures are posted on their Instagram account called The Fluffy Duo. A lot of people admire their one-of-a-kind relationship. Two books were also written about their friendship entitled “A Fluffy Friendship” and “The Adventures of Hoshi and Zen.”
Sadly, in July 2019, Hoshi crossed the Rainbow Bridge. A few months after, Zen followed.
It was heartbreaking for their fur mom to lose her two dogs in a year.
They may no longer be here on earth, but the inspiration they have left will forever leave an unforgettable mark in all the people’s hearts.
