When a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Sadie discovered that her human parents would soon have a baby boy, and the dog can’t contain her happiness. Besides, having a new family member means she would have a new companion and a playmate!
According to her mom, Sadie has hardly left her side upon knowing that she was pregnant. Sadie took another role of not only guarding her beloved parents but also guarding his would-be brother. This only showed that Sadie would be a very responsible and loving big sister for her baby brother in the future.
After months of excitedly waiting for her baby brother, Tyler finally arrived into the world. Sadie was unstoppable at that time, eager to take a closer look (and lick) at the baby boy she’s been guarding for months. It’s evident that Sadie wants to play right away with Tyler, but she knows that the baby boy was still weak and frail to play, just like newborn pups.
While waiting for their first-ever play in the backyard, Sadie has focused all her attention and energy on making sure that Tyler can be as safe as possible. More than a sibling, she treats him like his own puppy, pouring out all her strength and love to baby Tyler.
And after years of helping his human parents take care of the baby boy, Sadie was all again thrilled because Tyler is strong enough to play and bond with him.
At last, after a long, patient wait!
Their first ‘action-packed’ bond after Tyler has learned how to walk was during a Halloween celebration where Sadie and Tyler were dressed as a chef and lobster.
Tyler’s parents can’t help but be amused at how this duo grew up as inseparable, and they hope that their strong bond would never end.
For Sadie, it is certain that she couldn’t ask for more, as the baby she’s been waiting to arrive is now her everyday playmate, companion — and a forever friend.
