This Rottweiler Is Looking For A Forever Home She Could Spend Her Remaining Time

Milly Jones November 28, 2019

It is a sad reality among dogs in animal shelters that they face the dilemma of not getting adopted, in their lifetime. While some dogs in animal shelters find it easy to get adopted, some dogs, especially older ones, do not. Autumn is no stranger to this narrative.

Autumn is already at the twilight of her life, and volunteers from the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge are doing their best to look for a potential home for the dog. The volunteers said Autumn was surrendered to the animal shelter by her former family when the dog started having problems walking.

Before she incurred this walking problem, the Rottweiler loves to spend her time outdoors. She would run as fast as she could, not minding what might happen to her.

The former parents of the Rottweiler claimed, they no longer have time to take good care of the pooch. While this development saddened the volunteers, they have nothing else to do but comply with their request.

The volunteers are currently looking for a loving home for the pooch. In a Facebook post, they said, they do not want Autumn to spend the last good days of her life inside the animal shelter. While they can provide for her needs, it is still different from having a place you can call home.

In the post, the volunteers also said that the dog is sweet and a happy-go-lucky kind of pooch. Although the dog finds it hard to walk, her personality still exudes with brimming confidence. Anyone who would decide to adopt the pooch will be lucky to have her, the post added.

For now, the animal shelter is putting all their trust that someone will heed to their request. While waiting, the volunteers vowed to give Autumn the undivided attention she needs in the most challenging time of her life.
