When we talk about German Shepherds, several qualities come into mind. First, they are generally seen as police dogs. In fact, they make up the highest percentage of dogs utilised in the K9 division of the police force all over the world.
They are a perfect choice because they are generally intelligent, obedient, loyal, confident, alert, and courageous.
German Shepherds also make great house pets. Aside from being a reliable guard dog, they are great with children as they have a calm and caring demeanor. For a homeowner, it’s very reassuring to have a guard dog like the German Shepherd. But sometimes, these dogs can be fun and loving goofballs as well.
Scary surprise
One German Shepherd, in particular, had the surprise of its life when it entered the kitchen and saw something unusual. Was it a trespasser? Is it a threat to the family? The dog and its owner probably just got home, and when they entered the kitchen door, there is a very realistic looking stuff toy, a tiger to be precise.
The alarmed dog looks at it and gives it a bark, a warning maybe for it to stay away. He keeps on barking while taking a few steps back. In a short while, he tries to go closer to investigate further. As he inches near it, he suddenly lunges back.
He goes back when his human goes near the toy tiger, and he starts to pet it. The dog, in the meantime, gets braver and joins his human, well, staying behind the man’s back for good measure. Seeing that no harm has befallen his owner, he goes in again to get a sniff.
He takes a small bite at the toys paw, and as he does it, the tiger moves. He hilariously scurries away in fear. He goes back again and again but still couldn’t shake off his fright. To be honest, that toy really looked realistic. See the funny video below.
