Vizsla Dog Wouldn’t Let Her Mom Read A Book And Demanded Some Cuddling

Vizsla Dog Wouldn’t Let Her Mom Read A Book And Demanded Some Cuddling

In case you didn’t know, we are our dogs’ entire world. Aside from food, we are on their minds 24 hours a day and seven days a week. That’s why they become extremely sad when we leave them at home by themselves, and they go crazy with excitement once we come back.

This is part of who they are. However, there are times where they can be super clingy to the point that they won’t leave us alone. When this happens, dog parents can have a hard time trying to get a task done. But as fur parents, we understand them, and we appreciate their affection.

Dog parents who have Vizsla pups may experience this behavior more than dog parents of other breeds. Vizsla dogs were given the moniker, “velcro dogs.” This is due to their affectionate behavior to humans, but sometimes they can go over the top. Although this can be touching, it could also be annoying at times.

These dogs don’t like being left alone. They want to be around their humans as much as possible, and they want their human’s full attention when around them. As adults, sometimes we need some alone time for doing chores, watching TV, or reading a book. That could be an issue if you have a velcro dog.

This viral video that has over 14 million views on Youtube features Heidi Barto and her beloved Vizsla pooch, Nell. The video was taken inside their home, and Heidi was sitting on a comfortable chair about to read a book when Nell decided that it’s time for some cuddles.

Every time Heidi tried to read the book she was holding, Nell was there to kiss and hug her mom, taking her focus away from the paperback that she was trying to read. Even when Nell wasn’t looking, she somehow knew that her mom was trying to read, and she just simply wouldn’t let her. This dog can be a handful, but we still love her.
