Heidi D’Amelio is a woman who has always wanted to own dogs because she grew up with them. However, her husband Marc was not a supporter of Heidi’s intention to become a dog parent because he felt that there were a lot of responsibilities involved.
As a surprise, Heidi decided to bring home four dogs: a chocolate Labrador named Rebel, a Cockapoo named Codi, a Havanese named Belle, and a Golden Retriever named Cali. The four canines greeted Marc with wagging tails and acted as if they were longtime friends.
The D’Amelio Dog Pack, as Heidi affectionately refers to their small family, immediately showed their distinct personalities. Heidi described Rebel as a dog with an ancient soul because she feels compelled to say something every time they lock eyes. Rebel also enjoys squeezing herself into tight spaces because she does not realize that she is already a big dog.
Codi, on the other hand, is a loving cuddle bug who must always be touching someone.
Heidi likes calling Cali a baller because she is infatuated with balls and never goes anywhere without one in her mouth.
Belle is the pack leader and enjoys controlling her canine siblings like a boss. She prefers to spend time alone in a secluded area of the house, away from all the excitement.
Heidi believes that each of her four dogs has a role at home because each has a preferred human. Cali is closest to her daughter, Dixie, while Rebel is closest to her other daughter, Charli.
Heidi also shared that she and Codi have a strong bond, whereas nobody knows who Belle prefers. She boasted that bringing all four of her dogs home was really worth it, as they had made their way into Marc’s heart without anyone noticing.
