Woman Spots A Stray German Shepherd Living In The Desert And Kept Coming Back To Rescue Her

Thousands of strays need loving forever homes. Many of these dogs were abused and abandoned by their previous family that they find it hard to trust humans again. However, kind-hearted people still exist and they will do everything to rescue these beautiful animals and find loving forever homes for them.

A woman named Lindsay was driving through the desert when she spotted a German Shepherd. No one was around and Lindsay suspected that the German Shepherd was abandoned by her family. Knowing that the dog won’t survive by being alone in the desert, Lindsay decided to rescue the dog and find a loving family for the dog to live with.

However, the German Shepherd was quite cautious when people approach her. Although the dog was friendly and seemed to want to trust Lindsay, the dog would always run away whenever Lindsay comes near her. Thankfully, Lindsay refused to give up and she kept coming back every day trying to win the dog’s trust. The German Shepherd would wag her tail when Lindsay comes to visit her but she always kept her distance.

Lindsay decided to ask for her husband’s help to capture the German Shepherd. They were successful and Lindsay and her husband took the dog back to her new home. The German Shepherd still feels a little stressed and Lindsay, as well as the German Shepherd’s new family, gave her some space to de-stress.

In the following days, the German Shepherd started learning to trust humans again and even started eating out of Lindsay’s hand. The German Shepherd then allowed Lindsay to pet her head and when the German Shepherd felt safe, she allowed Lindsay to give her belly rubs, which is a big deal for dogs.

The German Shepherd found a new forever home where she’s loved and cared for. She now has an amazing family that will never abandon her again. Here’s a heartwarming video showing Lindsay rescuing the stray German Shepherd living in the desert.
